Crack the color code in 10 tries.

Under the cover there’s a code of colored pegs. Try combinations and work it out from the clues on each try: black and white.

How to play

Under the cover there’s a secret color code. Easy: 4 pegs from 6 colors; Medium: 5 from 8 (on both, no repeated colors); Hard: 5 from 8 and colors can repeat.
Tap a color (or drag it into a slot) to fill the row and press “Try”. Rows fill from the bottom up and you have 10 tries.
Each try is scored with small pegs: a black one for each color in the right spot and a white one for each color that’s in the code, but in a different slot. They don’t say which is which: work it out!
Long-press a color (or right-click) to cross it out as a note, and double-tap an earlier try to copy it. With a keyboard: 1–8 place colors, Enter tries and Backspace erases.
Stuck? Buy a hint with Pupicoins (5 to 15 depending on difficulty, H key): it reveals one slot of the code, but with hints your time doesn’t count toward your best. When you finish you’ll see how many codes were still possible after each try.

Everyone tries to crack the same color code at the same time. The server checks every guess, and nobody sees the code until the end.
