I Doubt It
Lie with a poker face… or catch the liar.
The classic bluffing card game (also known as Cheat): play cards face down while calling a number, and call “I doubt it!” when you think you're being fooled.
How to play
- The whole Spanish deck is dealt. The first to run out of cards wins.
- Whoever starts the round plays 1 to 4 cards face down and calls a number (for example “two sevens”). They can lie.
- The next player plays cards claiming they're that same number… or shouts “I doubt it!”.
- If you doubt and the other player lied, they take the whole pile; if they told the truth, you take it. Whoever wins the challenge starts a new round.
- If someone runs out of cards, the next player can doubt: if they lied, they take the pile; if not, they win the game.
