Kakuro
Cross sums: the crossword of numbers.
Fill the white cells with digits 1 to 9 so every row and column adds up to its clue, without repeating a digit in the same sum.
How to play
- Each white cell takes a digit from 1 to 9. The black cells hold the clues: the number at the top right is what the white cells to its right add up to; the one at the bottom left, what the cells below it add up to.
- No digit repeats within a sum: 16 in two cells can only be 7 + 9, and 6 in three, 1 + 2 + 3.
- Tap a cell and pick the digit on the pad or type it on your keyboard (arrows to move). Next to the board you’ll see the combinations that fit both of its sums.
- Notes mode (N, or Shift + digit) jots down candidates. “Show errors” marks repeated digits and sums that can no longer work in red.
- If you get stuck, buy a hint with Pupicoins (5, 10 or 15 depending on difficulty; H key): it puts the right digit in a cell, but with hints your time doesn’t count toward your best.
- Easy: 7×7 · Medium: 9×9 · Hard: 11×11. Every puzzle has a single solution and can be solved with logic, no guessing.
