Slitherlink
One closed loop: the numbers are in charge.
Connect the dots with a single closed line: each number says how many sides of its cell the loop runs along. 5×5, 7×7 and 10×10 boards, all with a single solution.
How to play
- Draw a single closed loop by connecting neighboring dots horizontally or vertically. The loop doesn’t cross itself or branch: each dot has 0 or 2 lines.
- Each number says how many of the 4 sides of its cell the loop uses. Cells without a number can have any amount.
- Tap a side to add or remove the line, or drag your finger from dot to dot to draw several in a row. With the “Cross” tool you mark with ✕ the sides where it surely doesn’t go (with a mouse, right-click).
- A number dims once it has its lines (a 0, when its four sides have ✕) and turns red if it has too many or can no longer fit them. Every board has a single solution and can be solved by reasoning, no guessing.
- If you get stuck, buy a hint with Pupicoins (5, 10 or 15 depending on difficulty, H key): it removes a wrong mark or places the next line, but with hints your time doesn’t count toward your best.
- With a keyboard: the arrows move the cursor across the dots, Shift + arrow adds or removes a line, X and an arrow mark an ✕, Space turns on the pencil (the arrows draw) and Z undoes.
Slitherlink: online race
