Bulls and Cows
Guess your opponent's secret number before they guess yours.
The classic deduction duel: hide a 4-digit number and crack your opponent's using bulls-and-cows clues.
How to play
- Each player secretly picks a number with 4 different digits (0 is allowed, even first). Your opponent can't see it.
- Take turns trying to guess your opponent's number: type 4 different digits (on-screen or computer keyboard) and press Guess.
- Each guess gets an answer: bulls = right digits in the right place; cows = digits that are in the number, but in another place. If the secret is 4271 and you guess 1234, you get 1 bull (the 2) and 2 cows (the 1 and the 4).
- Write down your deductions in the notepad: cross out digits and mark positions (pencil or N key). It's just for you and reveals nothing.
- The first to get 4 bulls wins. If the player who started gets it, the other gets one last guess to tie (so both play the same number of rounds). If nobody guesses it in 15 rounds, it's a draw.
